It’s no secret that I prefer Logitech gaming products over all others, and the G903 Wireless Gaming Mouse and the PowerPlay Wireless Charging Mat didn’t disappoint. I’ve spent close to a month testing these two products together, and am pleased to say it’s been a great experience.
In the past, I have steered away from wireless mice because they always seem to die at the worst time. Losing connection mid-raid on a boss fight, or in a huge PvP battle? Not fun! I had been using the Logitech G502 wired mouse, which I absolutely love, before I got my hands on the G903.
In a side by side comparison to the G502, the G903 is very similar. Both of these mice fit comfortably in my hand, and the buttons are easy to reach. A plus for my smaller hands is that the G903 is very lightweight, coming in at 3.88oz. The G903 is also ambidextrous, so fret not left handers, you can easily adjust it to work for you. There are 11 programmable buttons, which fits my needs perfectly without overkill. I use mouse-over healing addons in World of Warcraft, and can fit all of my heals, cooldowns, and interrupts on the buttons.
You can save up to five profiles on the G903 mouse, and all of this is easily managed in the Logitech Gaming Software, which is a quick install. The mouse also features LIGHTSYNC RGB for two zones which can showcase many different colors, including fixed, colored, and breathing effects.

The website boasts 32 hours of continuous gaming on a single charge! Between writing, gaming, and browsing stuff online, I spend upwards of 35+ hours a week on my computer, but I have yet to even drop below 70% on the battery. In conjunction with the PowerPlay mat, this mouse lives up to the hype. It passively charges while you are playing, and while you are away, and so far it’s worked great.
Setting up the mouse and mat was a breeze, and I was up and running within 5 minutes. I popped the Logitech Powercore Module that came with the mat into the mouse, plugged it all in and was ready to rock.
The PowerPlay Wireless Charging Mat comes with both a cloth and hard surface, and measures in at 321mm in length, 344mm in width, and 43mm depth. The cord that plugs into the base can also be plugged into the wireless mouse in the event you do get low on battery (which has yet to happen). It also has RGB Lighting with the Logitech G logo on the PowerPlay Base.
I have clocked in dozens of hours of gameplay with the mouse and mat in Overwatch, World of Warcraft, and some RPGs, and there have been no issues. Not one hiccup, and no battery issues. For me, this is as close as it gets to the absolutely perfect gaming mouse.
